ParnassusNext Monthly Subscription

I was contacted by a manager of books for young readers at Nashville’s independent bookstore, Parnassus Books. For almost three years now, they’ve had an awesome subscription program called the Parnassus Signed Young Adult First Editions Club. It’s a bit of a mouthful, right? They thought so too.

So they went back to the drawing board to think about why they originally started the program — to put autographed first editions of the best new books into the hands of YA readers. They came up with a new name and look that they  think not only better reflects our original intentions, but might also help bring the program to the attention of some new subscribers.

ParnassusNext represents everything they love about this program: It’s a way to discover your next favorite book. Each book is chosen by our YA experts, signed by the author, and shipped straight to subscribers. No hidden fees. No filler. Just YA books they love so much, they can’t wait to share.

I was sent the February subscription and really wanted to share with you guys! It contained a signed first edition of our February selection, Gavriel Savit’s stunning debut, Anna and the Swallow Man, a note about why they love the book and how you can share the love if you do too, and a letter with a bit more background info about ParnassusNext.
